Believed to be originally bred in Australia, imported to the UK in 1951 under the name ‘Watanabi’ and renamed ‘Connie Mayhew’. It first appeared in a King’s publication in 1952. According to our records the last year it was offered for sale was 1977 before we brought it back in 2022 . Flowers are a pale, creamy primrose color with perfect incurve form. Best grown as a disbud. Tall.
